Thank you! Got it yesterday afternoon! And absolutely - nursing was a second career for me (had about 8 years experience in humanitarian aid/non profit work with a master's in human rights prior). 3.98 nursing GPA, 3.73 cumulative, 3.95 science. A little over three years experience in a MICU at a Level 1 hospital. Have my CCRN and took a biochem course before applying. Honestly I think my previous career and time spent studying/working abroad probably helped me stand out. It's such a numbers game with how many applicants they've gotten! Genuinely didn't think I had a chance this year so I'm super grateful.

I'm from the East Coast (PA and VA) originally. I've actually only been to Colorado for short trips twice! Where in Europe did you live? I lived in London for a couple of years when I was younger and again for grad school. Absolutely loved it there! Looks like the link was just sent out! See you tonight!

Oh that's great that you were able to volunteer! My volunteer program got shut down due to COVID so I only got about three months of experience in a Med-Surg unit. I was previously working in humanitarian aid and right now I work in project management at a health non-profit. Unfortunately I've only been in San Francisco for a little over a year so most of my time here has been in shelter-in-place! I haven't gotten a link yet. Have they sent one out?
