Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.

does any one know if a hold means a soft denial?

It shouldn't, because I got a straight up rejection - no invite for Kira or anything.

Has anyone else received an update? Had my information session on the 24th and I believe they said within a week but have not yet received an update.

Specializes in ER/ICU/CriticalCareTransport.

What are your stats? Do you have your CCRN?

Yes, I have my CCRN. One year SICU experience. Tons of volunteering, a research paper, and committees.

What's your GPA? I have similar experiences and received a Kira and information despite (what I feel like) bombing the interview.

You'll definitely be interviewed at some point! Essentially same stats as me! I also have not received anything here. I think they may prioritize years of experience in their application. I also have around 1 as you do.

Thank you, but they already rejected me. I got the email today.

But hopefully you get an interview!

What exactly is this information session composed of? How much time should I spend studying clinical questions? is it 1:1 or group the whole time?

Also- does this session the last step before they decide to let you in or not?

Could someone kindly explain "hold" vs "waitlist" after the KIRA or in-person interview or after both?

Check the FAQ on the website; they explain what a hold and being waitlisted means.
