Just received my denial letter yesterday after being waitlisted in January. Good luck to everyone for the future round of applications!

Hello! I see you were a re-applicant. What did you do to make your application better the second time? Did you re-write totally new essays or submit the same ones? Thanks!

Hi! I reached out as soon as I found out I was waitlisted to get feedback on my application.   I had applied very late in the cycle the first time, so the biggest thing they said was to get my next application in as soon as the cycle opened. I was going for one of the CO spots.  I did refine and adjust my essays.  The prompts were a bit different from the first year as well.  I had a CRNA I work with look over my application before I submitted it, for feedback. I did some shadowing, and went back to the ICU PRN since I had left to another specialty for awhile. I think that's most of it! Good luck! We just started class on Tuesday and I have been so blown away by the faculty so far and my cohort is amazing.  53 this year.

For people who have applied multiple places- does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for increasing your science GPA? I was thinking about taking additional science classes to give it a bump. But I didn't know where to start

Thanks you so much for this! I did reach out and get feedback after I was waitlisted as well and I definitely plan on re-applying because I hear nothing but good things from the students that get into this program. I will definitely apply August this year instead of waiting. I don't think I applied till October last year. I was asking about the essays cuz I wasn't sure if they expected applicants to totally come up with new essays or if it was okay to tweak old ones. I'm willing to do whatever I have to haha. Thank you for replying and good luck with your studies!!

Did you guys reach out directly to the program director for feedback?

Hi all! I plan on applying to Rosalind when the cycle opens. I saw that you only have to list your LOR contact on your CV. Do you guys know if they actually ended up contacting the people who you listed? Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I am applying to the current cycle and got an "on hold for consideration" email before being invited for a Kira interview. Did anyone from last cycle had this happening?

I have 5.5 years experience, GPA 3.8, CCRN, TCAR, Skin Committee, Preceptor, Charge, etc. I was placed on hold after my kira with no info session. I did 2 mock interviews after this to prepare for other interviews & got into another school. For anyone who doesn't get in this round I highly suggest a mock. I just don't think I was as prepared as I could've been and I recognize that in hindsight. I'm pretty sure I didn't get in (haven't heard anything yet other than hold) but I've come to terms with it. You just need one yes! Hang in there everyone! & congrats to those who were accepted/waitlisted at RFU!

Hello, how long did you have to wait after Kira to get an answer (from RFU), if you remember / don't mind me asking? Thank you!

After Kira it took about a two weeks to be offered to attend the info session. After the info session then some individual were offered seats into the program. However I do remember some individuals being offered a spot immediately after the Kira. Honestly it depends on each individual and situation. Good luck and check your junk mail as well.

Hey Friends! I'm posting this hoping someone sees it. I'm relocating from out of state with my family. I'm starting school  in May 2026. I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on areas I should be looking at. I'ld love family friendly areas with good schools and of course not too far from campus. Thank you so much and happy holidays!!
