Rosalind Franklin University CRNA 2024

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.

I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.

If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!

Good luck to everyone!!

Specializes in ICU, CCRN.

That's how I feel since I only was able to do the kira and got placed on hold afterwards. I'm trying my hardest to remain optimistic and positive but it's so hard not thinking you're good enough for the second interview. LOL my mind is going crazy.

Honestly the second interview was disappointing. No "tell me about yourself" no "why should we pick you". No clinical questions. Suuuuuper generic EI questions, you answer 1 at a time. So either everyone goes to talk at once and you have to take turns, or by the time it gets to person 4,5,6 you're literally saying the exact same thing and piggybacking off of everyone else. When the zoom comes together and you see like 20 applicants, my thoughts were "how can you get to know literally any of these applicants on a deeper level?” I've been preparing so much for this school and this interview and I was really disappointed and sad about the interview process. Really feels like they throw a dart and accept whoever it lands on. Most generic interview of my life.

Very interesting... hmmm.

Are interviews over or still ongoing?

Do we think  the rest of us "on hold" people get a decision in January (if not this month or next?)

No clue I've kinda already come to terms with it being a rejection. I'm paying $1000 to fly across the country for another interview.... ?

Gotcha. I couldn't remember if they had a references section when I first applied because it's been a couple months. Now I'm nervous thinking I didn't provide references.

Any advice from anyone?

There wasnt a location in nursingCas to place references and I was told by someone that got accepted that you didn't need any references. So some may have misinterpreted but still got in anyway LOL.The chips is out of our hands LOL.
