Rosalind Franklin University CRNA 2024

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! I will be applying soon to Rosalind Franklin University's CRNA program starting May 2024.

I know applications in NursingCAS will open on August 10, 2023 and will close on December 15, 2023. I've heard that it is very competitive with rolling admissions so apply early! Interview invites have gone out in September in the past with virtual interviews taking place between October and February. Admission spots were offered last year as early as October.

If you have anything to share throughout this application process, please post here!

Good luck to everyone!!

Hello! Can someone provide information about the Zoom interview? Will it be a formal interview session with the faculty and SRNAs, or is it more of a Q&A or meet-and-greet?

So I've been wondering the same since the program overview video made it seem like it would be a time to get more info about the program and ask questions. But the email makes it seem like it is an interview for them to get to know us more as well. It also seems like it will be a group type of interview and from last years forum they did mention group interviews. To be safe, I'm just preparing for it to be an interview.

When is the first round of interviews? Also, for the people accepted - can you share your stats?

Zoom interviews will go until January.

Last year the group zoom interview was like 5 min 1:1 with a faculty member and then group chatting for the rest. Odd format if they are making acceptance decisions based on a group zoom ?

Did you also specify your clinical preferences during the zoom? The overview video seems to put emphasis on it and that acceptance will also be based on which clinical region you want.

No, I don't remember that being brought up at all really

@purplereign23Yes, I remember that part. It really seemed like they based your acceptance on that.

Say more, what did they ask you and what did you feel like was the wrong answer? Did they ask if you would go to WI and IN for clinical sites bc it seems like that's the expectation

How are everyone's interviews going?

Didn't know there was a choice in clinical sites.

From what I have heard, there are WI, IL and a Colorado Springs clinical site.

Will all clinical sites be based on region assigned/picked? Like all rotations in Colorado Springs for all 1.5 or so years?
