I don't know if I hit reply earlier but the books are available at the bookstore, DM, I e-mailed the bookstore and they said they got 5 from Plant City.

If you don't mind, if you would stop by the nursing program manager and ask if she has extra coupons for the from the vendor? If you are going to be on campus early.

I am currently at work and will not be there until 5pm at which time, she is probably gone for the day

If I called, she would not pick up the phone and will go straight to voicemail. I would really appreciate it.

I asked her assistant on Tuesday and that was a negative, but I will ask again today, she did say she was going to contact the vendor. I'll let you know. Lunch is over, back to the lab, will get back on here about 4:30pm and let you know what happened with her.

Hey. You guys don't really need the newest version of textbooks. I bought the package, barely used the workbooks (even though the package price saved me about $40-60 versus buying all used textbooks from ebay/amazon/craigslist). It's really more of a convenience thing. If you still dont have your package by now.... you can youtube skills & google. I got by with older versions of our psych book, OB book, peds.

skad33, I do have the older version but the problem is that the instructor wanted us to have Nursing Fundamental and SLS simulation online. If there is a way to get away from that, I would love to. The online version have videos.

Hey apattee please give bijin05 that coupon, I was able to get one from another source.

bijin05, my instructor was able to give me a coupon that she printed. So, ask apattee for the coupon. Just let it be known that I got one already, just in case she doesn't get a chance to check this. As for Ms. Rose, they do not have any coupons, but supposedly the vendor is bringing some tomorrow when they come to talk to our class. I will grab a couple just in case.

DM Nights and Weekends. I was laying in bed last night, trying to sleep when this just popped into my head...lol. The instructor had mentioned a couple of times "getting on to Kaplan" and said she had sent us the info already. I just looked through all my emails from her and I don't see anything about Kaplan. I know there were a couple of earlier emails she sent out where about 10 students were left off the distribution list and I missed out on a couple of emails. Does anyone know what we are supposed to do about Kaplan?

Also, I had assumed the "ID Badge" we were supposed to get from the bookstore was just the blue school ID card. Is that correct, or is there a special student nurse ID badge? Thanks!
