I havent found any threads on the Spring 2012 Nursing program, soo i figured id start one! I have already recieved an Email saying everything has been recieved, just waiting on my letter to see if I was accepted! Does anyone know when theyll be sent out? Has anyone recieved that email yet? :redpinkhe
I'll be turning mine in probably Wednesday by e-mail.
I'm going to the CPR tomorrow morning. I got this e-mail today.
This email is to confirm your participation in CPR for HCC Allied Health Studentsscheduled for 11/29/11 - 9:00 AM Room: DTEC D 105 Section:
at HCC Dale Mabry - 4001 W Tampa Bay Blvd, Tampa FL
I sent my package (medical/baycare) to Ms. Ordoyne on Monday and she responded today. It is 24 hours turn around. The only thing left is the CPR information from the instructor. If anyone that is attending today or before the week is over, please remind the instructor to submit the CPR records to the school.
That is the only thing left that needs to be check off in my file. Good luck and will see everyone in the evening class on the first day.
i sent her an e-mail yesterday, she said as long as you e-mail everything, she doesn't need a physical copy of anything.
amber, you do not need to bring hard copies in if you scan and email your documents that would be fine

Brital,Once you have your ID and password, login and click on CATALOG. You will then look to the top left for NON-TEAM MEMBER and scroll down until you see STUDENT/INSTRUCTOR. Click on that and you will see CODE OF CONDUCT and ESSENTIAL. Once you see that, click on Code of Conduct and click register and you will do the same for Essential.
You are set to take the course. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Got it thanks!!! That was the longest orientation

I am NOT happy!
I went to get my bloodwork done on Monday, and was told it takes 24-48 hours to get the results back. That would've been today. I went to get my results, and the woman at the desk said "Oh, we'll probably get those back on Saturday."
WHAT? I can't have that!
I'm PRAYING that the results come in TOMARROW, or that she'll accept the reciept for the bloodwork to show that I've at least GOT the test in progress. I'm so angry right now.
My test was for chicken pox, and MMR. I have the rubella titer, from years ago, but I need the other stuff. I wanted to wait to get my physical so the dr could write it all down on the paper, but I'm not going to be able to wait any more. I'm going to have to write an e-mail explaining what happened. I even have the "results" page for my blood work (which states "pending"-grrrrrr) What other immunization did they say you need becky?
On a happier note, check you hawkmail guys. I got the e-mail from the teacher asking what our clinical preferences are. So, go check your e-mail!!!!!!!
Hopefully I'll still be able to GO to clinicals. Only had ONE pay day in between orientation and tomorrow to get all this stuff taken care of. REALLY wish they would've given us longer. Twenty days seems like a long time....

Has anyone submitted their medical/baycare to Ms. Ordoyne via e-mail? I submitted mine this morning and was wandering the turn around when she will respond back. Thanks in advance.
