Has anyone not yet heard anything back yet? I called them and they said give them until friday...I wonder what the hold up is?

Did HCC change gpa requirements? I know they used to look at overall gpa but from what I read it looks like they only look at prereq gpa now?

StephDS, they only go by your pre-reqs GPA to go into the nursing program.

Hi i have a question, I will be applying in January for the fall2012 program, my gpa is around a 3.57 is there anybody that got accepted into the spring 2012 program with around my same gpa? I'm getting a little nervous.

yeah, I got in with a 3.42 for the spring. Ive heard the fall gpa goes up though. good luck! congrats to everyone who got in.

Does anyone have any info on the Transition Program at HCC. I was intending on going to SPC but have decided to try HCC. I was there last week and was told there is no waiting list and to have my app in by January 15. I guess the transition class only starts every summer session. Anyone have any other info.

I also received the alternate letter and filled it out and turned it back in the the Dale Mabry campus as fast as I could. Sucks because we waited ALL summer for this, but I'm just hoping for the best. So hopefully I'll see you guys in the Spring, if not there's always the Fall....what's another semester of waiting?! :)

RN in training 2011: Do you mind giving your gpa. I also got an alternate with 3.38. I guess we'll know in a couple of weeks since today is the deadline for returning the letter. Fingers crossed.:)

Bital: My GPA is a 3.4

Not the greatest but not the worst in my eyes. But this is a competitive program so we will see....if not I'll have my AA in Liberal Arts after this semester so I'll be able to transfer over to USF and then try to apply into the school of Nursing there.

Hi All! Here's hoping we get campus assignments soon and that those who are alternates get their letters that they got in!!!

Has anyone done the background check yet or CPR class? Or made any school purchases? I was looking through Spring 2011's roll call and students had already bought scrubs and stuff!
