I have seen charts in the past for RN's hourly wage vs cost of living sorted by state, but have not seen any for Canada...just wondering if anyone knows where I could find one. Thanks in advance!

It's a sticky in the area at the start of the Cdn. Forum. Jan did it a while back, so it may not represent the most current contracts.
Or you could check the postings on the website of the health authority you are interested in. AHS always posts the hourly rates for all jobs. Just doesn't display the shift diffs.

Actually, the cross-country comparison in that sticky is as up-to-date as it can be. The Canadian Federation of Nurses' Unions updates it every year to reflect contract negotiations and changes. I check every so often to make sure the link works and that it's still current.
It does, and it is...

I too keep an eye on it as I have used it both here and for someone at work that was wondering what pay was like for LPN
