RN vs. Lpn

Published

What is the nurse practice act?

What is the difference between the scope of practice for RN and lpn?

what can a RN and lpn do in regards to blood administration, IVs, physical assessments, wound care, ?

I saw a link with these on here could someone tag the link

It's not like I would ever use solely what's on here for homework just remembered seeing it and thought it would be helpful if you can't find it that's fine I will still ace my paper I'm sure

There is no ONE single link that can answer your questions. What LPNs can or can't do and also in comparison with RNs is determined by each state. There are not national rules/standards in place which determine scope of practice.

I was not looking for any inputs only the link from a accredibe source. So no it's not close to what I was looking for

I'm aware that it varies from state to state.

Sorry you come to public nursing forum, you post a question, you receive answered, some of which you did not like....

but out you know what your paper theme is a great one, to learn, conform to your states nurse practice act....

if I were you I would access my states BON website, in my case Texas.....you will have access to unlimited data on scope of practice, nurse practice act for both LVN/LPN & RNs..

best wishes
