RN Salary in LTC New york area

Hi all i am a recent grad May 2011 i am curious as to the starting salary of RN's in long term care facilities within the New york City area. I have seen threads for hospital salary but not LTC.

I'd also love to now what is the starting salary for a new grad RN.....I have a interview next week in a LTC facility.......anyone????

It's hard to tell. It really depends on the facility. I've seen $25-42 an hour being offered for RN.

$32.75 base, +2.00/hour for evening differential + .25c/hr for BSN. So $35/hour :) and this is in Staten Island. Best of luck in your job search.

Hi Prilly, I was wondering which LTC you interviewed for and how did it go? I'm looking into LTC facilities in metro NYC area.

Rn salary in ltc. You get about 25-28 with benefits and 34-35 without if you are just a staff nurse on the floor.more if you are a unit coordinator or management
