RN NCLEX licensure, help!!!!!

Published

Hello I am new to the forums. I attended RN school in Texas and graduated. Unfortunately, time slipped through my hands and I just took my nclex in January 2017 and failed. This was my four year mark with the Bon so they told me I had to go back to school before I can take the test again. I do not want to go back to school. Does anyone know of what state I can retake my exam with no limitations and able to transfer the license to Texas. Also, does anyone have any advice on study material. I have studied everything I can possibly think of and still failed. Any advice will help. I am desperate. Thank you

. So it blows my mind she went through 1.5 years of school and spent $20,000. Why waste so much money if you don't plan to take the test?

Several years after I graduated I came across a former classmate and we quickly fell into a Whatever Happened To kind of chatting. One who graduated with us never took the NCLEX, seems she just psyched herself out badly and every time she tried even the practice exams she froze up. Blaming test anxiety only goes so far, since let's face it we all had final exams in nursing school and we had our careers riding on those exams too. But with her, she actually made me mad in not testing because I knew for a fact that she had gotten all kinds of grants to go to school, state and federal and private and so on. She didn't pay anything for school, but she also didn't get anything out of it, so think of those students who COULD HAVE gotten far with that money for education :(
