I am enrolled in the RN-MSN program at Aspen University and after finishing the first two courses I feel that this has been a great choice. If anyone out there is looking for an affordable program with solid nursing content check out Aspen.
I am curious too about Aspen. I have read all the post and seems great. As far as regional accredition I think it depends on the school. Some schools I have called said as long as its CCNE accredited thats all they care about. Other schools say it must be both regionally and nationally accredited. I would look into FNP schools you want to go to and talk with them directly.
I got my BSN at Aspen and had no trouble with getting into an FNP program. I'm currently attending Simmons College for that. But there were several other online schools I looked at the were fine with my Aspen degree, it's CCNE which is what most are looking for. Also Aspen doesn't care what your goal is beyond them...they were very helpful in getting any information I needed and academic references for my application as well. The program is great, and the instructors are helpful.
Greetings Lovenurs, I went to a post-masters certificate program at a school I would not recommend. However, I hear that South University has an excellent program. When I tried to transfer there, I had already completed a couple of clinical courses and they were unfortunately not transferrable to South University. So be sure to chose your post-masters NP program carefully.
Best wishes.

Dr.Marcgayol, I am starting the MSN Administration program on Jan. 10.
I enrolled in two courses, is this advisable. During my BSN I started with 2 courses and took 3 courses at a time after that.
But the last time I was in school was 2014. Any tip is welcome.

I was just asking myself if this cheerleader is an employee... I liked my college for BSN but I do not feel the need to publicly make it known.
