RN to LPN school help!!

Okay so I was supposed to originally graduate with my RN associates in 2017, had to retake a semester, got back in and was ready to graduate in may 2018! I recently failed out again and pretty much gave up with that school

Clinically I am fine, It is just the test taking (having test anxiety doesn't help either.

I've decided to give LPN school a try. I'm not saying in anyway that it should be "easy", but will I find it easier? I don't know how different things will be and what will be factored into our grades (tests, quizzes, homework etc)

At my RN program it was strictly exam grades. Please help!!

Thanks in advance with any tips of LPN school :)

The LVN school I attended was just about the same.Grades are strictly based off tests as well.It also depends on the school and the way their curriculum is set up.

We had lecture exams for each week during the course and afterward we had to take an exam similar to NCLEX through a program called ATI. We were given practice tests prior to our proctored ATI exam though. But If we failed ATI we failed the class.

Even if our lecture grade was an A+ it all went down the drain if we failed ATI. I suggest you look around and go to open house or information sessions and ask questions about the curriculum at different schools and see what best matches what you think you may be able to handle.

Good luck

if you made it through your 3rd semester of rn school you might be able to challenge the boards to take you nclex-pn. if so look it up in your bon
