RN license endorsement to Texas

My license is currently with new York now. I want to endorse my license to Texas. I already have CVS , do I need to apply for CES report? Also, would online application be faster than paper application?

Only NY accepts CVS. You pay CGFNS to create a CES report and forward to TXBoN

online does not involve manual entry or awaiting on mail therefore online is faster

Last I checked Texas had different requirements on endorsing versus applying there.

I suggest not using CGNFS, they have poor customer services, unless you can get your CES for free or at a reduced rate. Last time I tried to use them they wanted like 2 bones just to re evaluate

I have used all three in the past, I find that ERES is the best and if they also have a private number they will give that will get answered much quicker than the number and time listed on their website

I don't think there's a need to undergo CES to endorse your license. CES reports are only needed to assess international education when you're applying to take the NCLEX but since you already have a license just go to Texas BON website and apply.

I would go with online application vs paper.

Unfortunately if trained outside the US the state may ask for the same as if initial application. Good thing is CGFNS can use same documents used for cvs for CES

My cousin got licensed in Hawaii, then had it endorsed in Texas. Didn't have to do CES.

What are the requirements for endorsing a license to texas?
