RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

My cum is 3.4 and science 3.25

And also per the advisor they don't know how they calculate the percentage for the test, it's something that the nursing dept plugs into the computer to get your score. Hope that helps

My cum gpa is 3.72. And science gpa is.4.0

I know i'm a little off topic but is there anyone else out there that is going the transitional-bridge route? Do they have the bridge program at the homestead campus. It seems as if everyone on here is going for the generic option.

Well I'm not going for Generic. I am going for Accelerated. But there was one girl in my test that told me she was applying for the transitional LPN to RN. That is the only other person I know that is applying for your same track.

Hey guys so I've been following this thread for a while guess I might as well post now lol I was one of the ones that was given a chance and was able to apply even though I didn't get a passing score on the NLN I have a 3.5 gpa and I did the LPN program at MDC. I applied right after I got the email advising I could still apply. I applied before the May 1st deadline to the transitional program. I'm going for preferably the online option since I'm working full time. I'm hoping even with all the rule changes they still get acceptance letters out around June 13 that is the day I got my letter last year for the LPN program. Hi lovinlifenico...I missed it by 2 points and they told me that I wasn't eligible to apply. I started looking into other programs and switched my degree program to diagnostic medical sonography. On May 1st I went to broward college to get info about their nursing program and when I got home that night I went to bcc website to apply to become a student and I was having issues with their website. I thought my internet wasnt working so I decided to check mdc's website and it came up so for unknown reasons I checked my email and I had received an email from the dean of nursing stating that I was eligible to apply this fall term only. I had received the email 6 days prior and I was so upset that I called my mom crying because I knew the deadline was May 1st. No where in the email did it state that they had extended the application date. So I emailed the dean of nursing back explaining why I hadnt checked my email sooner and that if I could apply the next day. I received a reply saying that I could still apply and I went the next day. I know its confusing but I am so excited that I got an opportunity to apply. I wish you and everyone else good luck in this crazy waiting game.

we are both in the same boat for the bridge option, and i really pray that we get accepted. this is too much stress lol. :up:
