  1. I have a friend that she is in the bridge and mentioned that she never used the fundamentals, and the one she requires for purchase is the med surge, since we will use it in the first and last semester. Also, she recommends just to rent the OB/Peds one since its just needed in the 2nd trimester. For the medical calculations one i downloaded it online via a torrent.
  2. was the book necessary??
  3. n/m they have it correct
  4. This is just the beginning of it. MDC is unorganized, but any ways they don't release any funds until you have passed the 100% non refund. Also, i would rather pay with a CC and get miles (lol) before i pay any fees for a short term, which by the way it only covers half and half out of pocket. The way fin aid works with the Nursing program it goes by the hours you would do and credits, so they take long calculating all that and aren't submitted right away; therefore, i missed out on Summers MDC grant (LPN program), because hrs weren't submitted on time by the Nursing department . Im hoping that for the loans is different.
  5. the best part the 3rd street clinic is open from 2-10 PM... Literally IN & OUT!
  6. Registration is done during your orientation, and they provide with a sheet with ref #'s and all that. I did LPN there, so its self explanatory. I wouldn't suggest to buy any books yet, until you know exactly what your professor will use. I literally bought a Pharm book, that we never used, and i hope I can use it for the Bridge option. For the math i rented the book, and thank god because we only learned the basics and didn't need it after that math class, which was only a few days.
  7. I went to the MDC clinic and there was soo many students from all programs. I suggest those who haven't done their physicals to go to the one on 3rd street, there is no waiting the girl is pretty cool and does the 1st PPD in 2 min, and does your drug test right there and tells you the result. For the 2nd PPD results she fills the physical, and gives you the drug results. I was literally in and out. No waiting!!!!... No need to have the Flu vaccine as we are not in the season yet....
  8. GOD is good! got in for bridge FT.
  9. Be positive, and believe it or not in this case the GPA is what they will be looking into. 4.0 is more them average. I my self have a 3.1, but I applied for the bridge, so I hope is not too competitive.
  10. This is great news!!!! thanks for your update.
  11. SuccessfulbyFAITH88 If you don't mind me asking, whats you're GPA and scores? in the past would've been the Teas, and im assuming you took the NLN. However, 3rd time is a charge, we should all have faith.
  12. i hope so too! This should be the week!!!
