RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

I got a call too for this Saturday MDC suck man...and guess what its only the beginning of the many disappointments we will encounter. The ref # is 819550

Yes,it sucks big time. I believe you because the girl who graduated from the program said administratively we're going to go through hell because everything is so unorganized :(

yes because i remember when i went to go reserve my seat, i only filled out the front part of the response form because the last page said faculty use ( so i didn't input any info on that page).. when i got to bursars office to pay my $100.00 the lady goes step aside you have to feel the back part, i go to her i will fill it out right here BECAUSE MDC needs to be specific and EDIT these papers.... This guy was behind me about to reserve for his BSN spot, he told me Its only THE BEGINNING Of what you will encounter at MDC so brace yourself..UGHHHHHH

I just also found out some new information. I called the nursing college at MDC and asked them about the deadlines because the CPR class was canceled and I couldn't get my ppd in the clinic because they won't have them until Friday. This means my medical requirements and CPR will not be completed by July 3rd which is the deadline in my acceptance email. They told me that as long as everything is completed by orientation which is July 17th for me. I can turn the paperwork in at orientation is what I was told.

When you said there weren't any PPDs at dade I just went to the miami rescue mission on 3rd street. There's no line or anything. Just walk in and she does it. The lady there is super funny too. She was going crazy over the world cup. I'm done with everything except cpr and step #8.

Ok guys, now I need your support. I just got off of the phone with advisement and they told me that they are not going to ask for the Spring 2015 students to take an entrance exam at all. They are going to base their decision on cumulative gpa (40%) and science gpa (60%). I am freaking out. Now I am so nervous that both of my gpa's are too low. I was going to "try" and use the exam to compensate. I feel sick :(

By the way, my science gpa is 3.67 and my cumulative gpa is 2.84.

Oh really. I thought about that yesterday, but I figured we couldn't do that because the receptionist didn't offer it to me at all. Does it matter at all that I started my initial screening at MDC medical? Or can I just finish everything at 3rd street?
