RN to BSN Sep 2nd Start Date

Updated:   Published

Is there anyone else who is starting the RN to BSN Sep 2nd 2019? I am taking NUR 351 & political science. For the current students or alumni, how was your experience obtaining your BSN with them?

Hello,

I recently graduated from an ADN program. I'm registered to start the RN-BSN online program on Sept 2nd also at Chamberlain University. I just completed the new orientation packet. I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. I have heard good thing about the program so hopefully that's true for me also. My first two classes are NR 351 and ENGL 147. Good luck to you.

started the rn to bsn in May, im finishing up my 3rd and 4th class nest week and will be starting my 5th and 6th class in september. So far the classes are super easy. Ive been able to get all A'S in the classes so far. You will not regret it and it goes by fast.

I start on the 2nd also. English and a Transition class.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Some of my students have struggled with taking two classes at a time, so make sure you stay organized to meet your weekly discussion requirements and get your assignments done on time. Good luck!

Sounds like someone or they’re having trouble with time management. One class is online and the other is on campus. No reason why there should be a struggle.

Also that’s just the beginning. My second, third, and fourth semesters have 3 - 4 classes. I don’t know why they figure this would be simple with 1 class a quarter. The program is structured that way and they were made aware during enrollment.

They are also working full-time as RNs with family obligations, but yes, once they figure out their groove, it gets better. ?

Been there and done that, but hey to each their own. ?

Why are you taking an on-campus class? Just curious. I wasn't aware that anyone in the RN-to-BSN program did that.

I’m not doing RN to BSN, I’m starting fresh. I just commented initially because everyone is starting at the same time.

Specializes in CCRN, Geriatrics.
