Hi, I have checked into some programs that require little travel but their prices are outrageous and they seem hard to find. Has anyone actually gone or are going through an online program that requires little travel? Is it terribly expensive? Please share your experiences. :)

I did the University of Phoenix online BSN and now MSN programs - no traveling whatsoever. Good luck.

I go to Florida Hospital College of Nursing. It's 100% online. The reason I chose them is no traveling.
It's much less than the cost of UofP. However, compared to the local college here, who RN to BSN requires traveling, it is expensive.

I am currently a student in the RN-BSN online program at Universtiy of Delaware. They require an oncampus weekend at the begining of your program and also at the end....Other than that no traveling. The price is reasonable also...304/credit hour, if you can enroll as a worksite participant. This requires someone from your hospitals education dept. to be willing to precept some of the exams...I love this program and would do it again in a heartbeat....I am about halfway complete....Good Luck..
At University of Phoenix you can obtain your BSN in 18 months (provided you double some classes). It is quite busy and you do learn A LOT. Then, for the masters - there are several options: MSN, MSN/MBA, MHA, MBA and a new MSN with an educator's track.

This school's tuition rate is something like 220/hr and they have government FA. I have researched every RN- BSN avenue and to me this is the best for the money. A friend of mine pays 1000+ per course at UOP...Good luck to you
