I'm thinking ahead and wondering where is a list of accredited of RN to BSN online (or distance if that is what they call it) programs can be found? I do a Google search and come up with pages of advertisements instead. Thanks!
no there was gn's at orientation now their admission was conditioned on passing the nclex but still. i did not have a year experience as a rn when i applied however, i did when i started the program.
oh and another question because i can't find it on the website, or i was skimming too fast and overtlooked it...do you need to be an rn for a year first before applying?
i had a previous bachelors and associates when i went to ec and texas tech. my sciences had the lab portion to it so i cannot tell you if the science will will transfer or not. however, i am sure since ec is accredited it will transfer. i know this when i was admitted to the program they made a mistake on my chemistry and thought it was from ec and did not contain a lab component. they called me and ask me to fill out a 1 hour lab component waiver to be able to continue in the program. i had to correct the problem cause my chem was a 4 hour class. so i got the impression that they would accept sciences from ec. i'm not sure about the time limits on the sciences i can tell you that mine are about 6-7 years old. i really don't think so but i could be wrong on that. i think this information is listed in the faq's on the website. it was a fairly easy admission process not anything like first getting admitted to a rn program...whoo what a mess....
hey txs, did you take excelsior's a&p and did they accept it ? and is there a time limit on pre-req's ? thanks.
