Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Congrats! You all enjoy this Fall and holiday season because life gets real come January, lol. We had our first two tests, two quizzes this week and two more this weekend, a Nutrition test Tuesday and some of us started clinical this morning. If you have already taken Nutrition then that will cut down on some of the work. I'm still pumped because I know this is all going to be SO worth it!

Specializes in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
WOW! nevermind! I just got home and my acceptence letter was in the mail!! SOOOO excited!!!

Congrats! Lol I told you!

I know I'm excited, I think as it gets closer to January the anticipation will grow. But then again I'm looking forward to the next set if paperwork which should have orientation information in it and the CPR class I'm gonna take in a few weeks.

I can't wait for orientation. I feel like I just wanna know everything lol. Luckily I got CPR certified for my cna class a few weeks ago. Now I'm just gathering my money and paperwork to send in.

I got my paperwork turned in last Monday, I was told that they were just waiting on orientation paperwork to come in from that department. Then they would be mailing out that information. I'll probably be getting all my titers checked in the next couple weeks.

Ohh ok. Good stuff! I'll probably turn my stuff in this coming Friday.

Does anyone know when tuition is usually due?

My guess is probably mid February, ours is due next week so that is why I say sometime around then.

Ok, thank you!

Good to know everyone is getting prepared! I'm just as excited for orientation! I've been in the process of doing the new student orientation checklist for online and signed up for a CPR class next weekend. The biggest thing I have to do is finish getting my immunizations....I'm not sure how we are supposed to get a TB skin test during the nationwide shortage....
