Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

U.S.A. Virginia

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

This is going to feel like forever!! You said you are turning in your application tomorrow right?

I hope we will be classmates :)

I hope so too!

It would be so awesome!

Specializes in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
Well I just got done! It was pretty straightforward. She asked the typical questions. From what she wrote down looks like I got a good score! Now to wait till late June or early July for the letter...[/quote']

Ahhh! That's such a long time span

I know! That's up to two months :( how's the studying going?

Ahhh! That's such a long time span

It is a good while to be anxiously waiting! I have seen some posts where people waited several months to get a response! I start my developmental psych and micro classes on the 20th. Along, with classes and working full-time my baby will turn 1 at the end of the month! Needless to say, I'll have quite a bit to keep me occupied but I will still be stalking the mailman, lol.

Haha my medical terminology course starts on the 20th as well and I have work, friends, and a boyfriend...but I tend to obsess over things and I'm not always the most patient person. Happy birthday to your baby!

I can obsess over things that are important to me as well! Shoot, I check the AN boards like I use to check my FB, when I do get on FB I check RSHC's page to see what they're talking about, lol. But I will probably go MIA after I get a date to take the TEAS V because I'm going to do some hardcore reviewing every night!

And thanks for the b-day shout out for the babes...can't believe a year has almost passed! I loved medical terminology, my teacher made it interesting. It is quite a bit of memorization but should be pretty easy. I took it 4 yrs ago at MCI.
