Hello,
I am curious as to if anyone else has applied or is applying at Riverside School of Health in Newport News VA for the 2012 LPN program? If so, have you been accepted yet? If anyone has already completed or currently attended Riverside's LPN program, I would love to hear any feedback/comments in regards to the program.
Thanks,
Heather
I took my exam today!!! It was crazy!!! I passed that's a great thing!!! I scored higher than the average program score on some things then on others I was right there!! I hope that it was good enough. Were there a lot of people taking the test when you took yours? There were 24 today, but some of them were taking the test for the second time because they didn't pass the first time. My science part was like nothing but chemistry!!!! I should be getting a phone call tomorrow to set up my interview. I am really excited about this whole process as well as nervous!!
Congrats! I took my test here in Hawaii and had my scores sent to the school. But there were 25 other students taking the exam but they were for the college here on the island. My sister took her TEAS exam last week and she was the only one in there taking it at that time. I am so curious as to how many people have applied for the same program. What was your final adjusted score? If your not comfortable telling, I completely understand. I just hope that everything works in our favor so that we may finally reach our dreams!! Well good luck with your interview! We are almost there...
You are in Hawaii? I didn't know that. Are you moving here? I actually only scored a 60.7 I bombed the science part. I haven't had Chemistry since 10th grade so that was 10 years ago so that was really hard for me. I did great on the English and decent on the Math. I either did really really well on questions or so so or horrible so in the emd it balanced out for me. I wasn't happy with my score, but I was happy that I got a passing score. I think I am going to ask how many people applied. Did your sister have her interview yet? Definitely hope everything works out in our favor.
My husband is in the Army and we are stationed in Hawaii. We have been here for 2 1/2 years and are supposed to leave this January. My mom lives in Tappahannock so if I get lucky enough to be accepted, my daughter and I are going to move in with her while I complete the school. My husband is in the process right now of trying to get stationed in either Maryland or Virginia (preference) for his next assignment so that we are not to far from each other :). So are you a CNA for Riverside? If so, do you work in the hospital or nursing home? And are you planning on working while attending school? I recently got my CNA license here in Hawaii and will have it transfered to VA if I get to move there. But I'm not sure if I'm going to try and work or not yet. My sister has her interview tomorrow at 930am.
I am taking my teas test for a second time on the 16th. I pray I can get a good score this time. I am a little nervous because of the science part. Hopefully all willl go well so that I can accomplish my goal.
Are you also applying for Riverside School of Health practical nursing program?!
