Riverside Community Collge RN Spring 2015

Published

Hello I wanted to start a thread for RCC Nursing Spring 2015!!!!! Anyone that will be applying to the program for spring 2015 lets get together to chat and support each other through this process!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!! Hope to see u guys in class next spring!!!:)

If you truly have 80 verifiable points they may still let you in. I read that in the other thread where they made a mistake with the TEAS. Idk just call tomorrow.

No alternates are not the lottery. If someone does not get through the "red tape" background checks, immunizations, physicals etc then they are dropped and replaced by alternates. Or if someone declines their spot and alternate will take the spot. We are accepted PENDING completion of the "red tape". So ask SON whats ur number on the alternate list?

Do you guys have a deadline when it has to be done? We have until the 12th to accept the alternate spot.

I was invited to take the teas with Rcc. And I scored an 89%. Was I supposed to submit those scores? Or did Rcc just have it since I took the exam with them??

No they would have told you if you did not have your Teas on file. Your email was an denial email because of the spaces were filled up? I never heard of that one? If you had 80 points and you had your classes all verified I don't understand. You still may get in. Don't lose hope.

I had all of my classes verified with the SON counselor in person. I had to get several of the my classes approved because they were transferred into RCC and not taken there. I hope it works out and you get in. :).

Good Night Guys.

Congrats to all of you who got in, and for those of you who are alternatives, stay hopeful. :)

If you guys truly have 80 points then you should be at least an alternative. Either the school messed up with your points or you are missing some classes. Like queen wondaful said, you have to verify your classes.

What's up everyone, my name is Brian and I have been following this thread for a while but am finally registering..lol I just got my email today stating that I have been accepted into the nursing program. I had gotten a 85% on the teas and had a total of 80pts altogether. I'm reading that some of you with 80pts didn't get accepted and have been placed as an alternate, I would definitely verify this with Rcc SON because maybe your calculation of PTS is differing with their calculations for some reason.... 80 PTS should definitely get you in... Well congrats to all the others that got their acceptance letters and don't lose hope for all the others that got placed as alternates.. There is STILL a chance to get in!!:)) I look forward to meeting all of you at orientation!!
