Well I had to call the department today to ask a question, and he didn't sound too hopeful for my 85 points, and he also told me that it will be another week before we will know. Man hearing that my points may not be enough was a thought but now it is making me even more stressed, I just want to know and make plans for what needs to be done next. AHHHHHh don't they know we are all control freaks and cant handle all this waiting. :eek:

They KNOW we are total control freaks who can't stand all this waiting. This is only the beginning of the hell that awaits! I figured we wouldn't know until mid December, but Brandon got my hopes up. Alas, more waiting.

wow...that's really discouraging that 85 points isn't enough to get accepted into the program. that probably means i don't stand a chance since i think i have 80 points. i guess we'll all find out soon. :/

ya...seriously if 85 isnt enough then i really do not understand how ANYONE has a chance

85 means:

straight As on all sciences (hardly anyone i know has that)

>3.5 on GED (getting 4.0 is close to impossible b/c there is always that ONE teacher...)

i got a 97 percentile on teas (88%, but that means only 3% of students got higher than me and maybe only 1% got the full 35 points)

if 80-85 doesnt get you in, then that means the people that do get in are the best of the best, i cant even fathom how smart they are

OMG I GOT IN

and i have to say this, when they said 2 mandatory days i had to be there and it said DECEMBER 17th, my heart SANK at 1st because

december 15th- dads 50th birthday

december 16th- rehearsal wedding

december 19th- wedding day

**** I WAS SO FREAKING SCARED until i found out that im in the clear once again..>YESSS!!!!!!

How many points did everyone that make it in have? I haven't received an email but I was trying to get an idea of what the point range is for the alternates. Thanks and congrats :)
