Did anyone else apply to the RCC program for Spring 2012? Does anyone know if we will have to wait until January to find out whether or not we get in? I'm hoping they will let us know by December. This waiting is torture!
Madison1234,
I completely understand stand, but what were the reasons that allowed others to get invited vs others that did not get invited? You would think that if someone did not get invited to take the TEAS at RCC, he or she possibly has a bad science GPA or has not completed all of the necessary prerequisites. In either case, he or she would have a difficult time getting into the program. Don't you think?
Also,
Since I completed all my prerequisites and all the general educational requirements and have a total of 70 points, do you think I have a chance of getting into the Spring program?
Thank You
Have a happy Thanksgiving!

So you were invited to take the TEAS at RCC? AND you finished all your GE? If that is the case I am assuming you did very well in your science pre-reqs and GE and the only thing that is pulling your score down is your TEAS V score. I would re-take it if you didn't do so well then you can really get some more points! :) And just because some people were invited to take the TEAS doesn't mean they have more of a chance in getting in. For example, I wasn't invited to take the TEAS at RCC but I took it somewhere else and it boosted my points by 30 points as opposed to someone who did get invited to take the TEAS at RCC but didn't do so well and maybe only got 20 points. Hope that makes sense... Good luck I hope we can all get in!!

Thank for every ones reply!
I was wondering though, does anyone know how many applicants applied this Spring Semester. I spoke with a counselor at the RCC nursing department and she told me that only 120 got invited to take the TEAS at RCC. That being the case, and since I got accepted, does any think I would have a chance of getting into the program?
Sadly, this is the only school I have applied at for the spring, so I am rooting on this program.
