Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. @Tbotbo, thanks for all the heads up! So far I just need to complete my second TB read on Monday and I'm done for all the health stuff required. Background/Drug test came out good. I did some comparing on the book bundles versus amazon, and it is actually cheaper buying the bundles with the discount code and stuff. Is there anything else aside from what was given to us in the book list that would help us for 1st semester?

Hi Steph, do you mind telling me how did you get your background/drug test result. I placed an order for the background check, then went to Quest Diagnostics for the drug screen. They gave me the receipt. But I wonder how do I find out my result? And what do I use to prove to the nursing school? Thank you!

The bundles seem expensive.....do you think they are cheaper than buying them off Amazon?

Hi EMT, did you ever find out if the book packages are out of stock or just order the Pre Publication ? Thank you

Hey tam, i know u didn't ask me, but I received the results in an email. When You entered your info there should have been a box that you can check if you wanted a copy of the background check. They emailed it to me a few days later along with the results of the drug test. They send the results directly to the nursing program I believe.

Thank you @vrayy. I did check the box. Hope I will get my result in a couple days. Is that the result for background check and drug test also?

It shouldn't take long. It took me 2-3 days after i took the drug test to get the email. Oh and it was one email with the background check and drug test results combined. Pretty sure. Even then I would still call to make sure they got it : )

Tampham....the books are pre publication....I didn't notice it until after i bought my books from Amazon

I didn't know that there was a box to check. Can the school tell me if everything came back ok?
