Does anyone know if you can still be accepted if the series of vaccines are in progress? Such as hep b and polio? I have to get titers for polio (hoping it shows I'm immune). I started hep b today but takes 5 months to complete the 3 series.

I'm pretty sure you can have just your shots for the polio you don't need titers for that and i think you would just need titers to check for the hep b but I'm not 100% sure I would just call them to ask, they're very helpful.

@Tash86 I think you will be ok the email stated this : Â· Get started on your immunizations NOW! Some immunizations are done over a period of months. Also, you must have either a positive titer or the 2nd Hepatitis shot in order to start Nursing school.

@Ms.Young, thank you! I go back in a month for my second hep b shot So I will hopefully be set if I do end up getting a spot right before school starts and don't have to panic last minute!

Just a heads up, I got my background check report in my email today, so it took about 2 business days to complete! Pretty fast since I took the drug test yesterday.

Oh thats good. I payed for the background check yesterday, but I haven't went in to do my drug test yet.

Welcome To: Riverside Community College School of Nursing Healthcare Background Checks if you click that, click start your background check. It's $97 dollars and it includes the drug test. When they process it they will send you an email telling you where to go for your drug test.
