Hey everyone!

I am getting ready to fill out my application for the Spring 2020 semester at RCC. Is it required to have your TEAS done at the time you send your app? It says on the app we can send it in by September 13th, I am registered to take the TEAS on august 16th. So i just want to be sure that is correct. This whole thing has got me super paranoid! I don't want to miss something and them not accept my app.

Thanks!

No you don’t have to have it done. Depending on how you place they will invite you to take the teas. I did mine prior to but I know plenty who did it after

Hello! Anyone in the program already that can share their experiences?

Okay perfect thank you! That is what I figured but I just wanted to be 100% before turning in my app.

hey guys I have a question about applying to the program, so I have anatomy 2 and micro left before I can apply to RCCs program. I was wondering if I can apply for the program as I’m finishing up micro next spring?.. I don’t want to take a semester off just to apply but I’m not sure how that works..

You would need to apply in the fall. Technically, you could submit an application. But there is nearly no chance it will get selected with incomplete classes. That is what I had to do. So I waited and am now applying.

I would defiantly wait. Jackie, the nursing counselor says that they have not accepted a student that has classes in progress in many years. Plus you will have more time to study for the TEAS. If you apply now you will have to take the TEAS as well. Take the extra time to prepare for that ?

Hi guys,

i submitted my application on July 18 and I had to call to get my confirmation email. just an fyi if you never got it.

Thank you so much!! I want to start preparing for the TEAS abut I think it’s too early for me lol I have another year before applying

Hey guys, I applied on the 31st I believe I haven’t checked my email recently. I applied to the 2yr and CEP with pretty low points I want to say around 65. My C in Micro makes me lose a lot and I got a 74.7 on TEAS without studying. If I don’t get in this semester I plan on retaking Micro this semester and try again later.

But I do I have a bachelors from UCR

i work as a CNA for 3 years now

volunteer hours, low income, etc.

I applied bc I know the CEP program is fairly new and I was banking on less people applying to it. I am wondering if you guys know any statistics from the past CEP pools?
