My C in Micro makes me lose a lot and I got a 74.7 on TEAS without studying. If I don’t get in this semester I plan on retaking Micro this semester and try again later.
But I do I have a bachelors from UCR
i work as a CNA for 3 years now
volunteer hours, low income, etc.
I applied bc I know the CEP program is fairly new and I was banking on less people applying to it. I am wondering if you guys know any statistics from the past CEP pools?
Hi! I know last semester the ones that were selected had points in the 80’s... I think it just depends on the mean points of all the applicants

I think the program may be too new for them to have any real good data. I think it may be about a year into the CEP program. I wish I knew too because I applied for that as well
I know for sure I have no chance of getting in the 2year pathway but I was hoping I might have a slight chance in the CEP even with the low points. I’m qualified for it just my gpa is the greatest. I have been applying to school in SD, Orange County, and riverside for like 3 years now with no luck. I was trying to avoid retaking micro but it seems I have to retake it to be a stronger candidate.
When I last spoke to the nursing counselor the cut off for last application was 76 for 2yr ADN and 63 for ADN/BSN. The CEP was so low because no one really knows about it and most students were missing one or two classes such as poli sci. Also those who are accepted to the CEP find out in October before the 2yr ADN applicants.

That’s what I’m banking on. Hopefully, it works out. I never had to take Poli Sci for my Bachelors hopefully it’s true that the waive it bc of my degree. I guess I’ll find out in Oct
Doesn’t San Bernardino only accept Hesi? Not the teas? I applied to RCC LVN program for their 2019 fall entrance and was not accepted:( I also applied to the RN program for their 2019 fall entrance and was not accepted. My teas score was a 64 so I know that’s why because I was only given 15 points do to low score. I’m going to apply again.

That is correct. SBVC uses the HESI (which they claim is easier than the TEAS) and its invitation only.
has anyone heard back regarding the TEAS invite?

I was wondering if I can apply for the program as I’m finishing up micro next Spring?.. I don’t want to take a semester off just to apply but I’m not sure how that works..
I would defiantly wait. ******, the nursing counselor says that they have not accepted a student that has classes in progress in many years. Plus you will have more time to study for the TEAS. If you apply now you will have to take the TEAS as well. Take the extra time to prepare for that ?

Also, read in previous threads from last year that the Poli Sci class is waived if you have a bachelors can anyone confirm that again this year?
