i've heard a lot about ccconline, but not a lot about rio salado. if you have taken a&p and/or microbiology online thru rio salado, i'd like to hear about your experiences.

i received approval from the dept. chair at ccconline to waive the pre-req and enroll in micro! :lol2: :clown:

now i will have all my pre-reqs done in time to attend nursing school this fall!:nurse:

i decided to take a&p at my local community college. i wanted something hands-on.

That doesn't sound right. I know it's true for Chemistry because there are 3-4 in-person labs that you have to attend. But Micro is TOTALLY distance - at no time do you have to go on campus.

You are right; it was Chem that I couldn't take the lab and the problem with Micro was that I have already taken the class and I just needed the lab and they don't offer it as a separate class number so I would have to re-take the whole class in order to take the lab. I wrote it wrong in my post :)

I called Rio Salado today and they told me that they have an internet only version of the Chem 130 lab. I'm happy because I'll be taking that now!!!
