First time applying as well! I believe the email said they would start the selection process mid-October?

I submitted my application through mail, haven’t received any kind of confirmation it’s been received yet.
overall- 3.24
science- 3.36
TEAS- 82.7%
checked 5 life experiences
ortho tech cert, CNA
work experience as a pct, transporter
threw in my BLS card for kicks.
I’m hoping my work experience helps out with the fact that I don’t have the AA degree yet. I’ve just submitted the petition to request it.

@Nma10 did you get the confirmation yet? I called Monday and she said once my application is processed she will send out the confirmation. I still haven't received it though.

I took a look at the past schedules and to me it seems like we would have to do the transition course in the Spring and the actual program wouldn't begin until the fall. Is this correct? I was hoping the actual program began in the Spring, but obviously would be happy to be accepted either way.

I believe the confirmation email that was sent out stated that we would be notified in November only if we are not accepted into the program.
But as far as I know, yes, you are correct. If accepted, we will take a nursing fundamentals class in the upcoming Spring semester and depending on whether we pass that or not we can then continue into the nursing program that following Fall semester.
