Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am interested in applying to rio hondo for spring 2018 and so I was wondering if anyone else might be applying there as well? I am planning on taking the TEAS exam really soon and hopefully we can help each other and answer any questions that each one of us might have and we could answer them on this page.
Someone in the previous semester said that Rio Hondo puts a lot of emphasis on your science grades. They don't even look at your cumulative as long as you meet the minimum requirement. If you have a 4.0 in science - you have a high chance of being accepted. A BS/BA degree + 4.0 science - practically 100% guaranteed acceptance.

Yikes, I ain't got no BS degree and I only have a 3.67 science GPA. RIP
Hi :) I too am waiting to hear from the Rio Hondo ADN program. So far I am a candidate for the Mt. Sac nursing program and have been invited to take the NLNPAX at Santa Monica college; but have decided to deny the invite due to the 2hr commute and upon receiving word of my candidacy at Mt. Sac (a closer commute).
Rio Hondo Acceptance Letter!!!:::
I just called Rio Hondo's Health Science Department. The secretary said letters of Acceptance were sent out today, via U.S mail! (I would still check your email). Letters will be emailed or sent U.S mail tomorrow/Monday to Students who have not been accepted into the program. She wasn't sure.
Good Luck to everyone! :)
