Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am interested in applying to rio hondo for spring 2018 and so I was wondering if anyone else might be applying there as well? I am planning on taking the TEAS exam really soon and hopefully we can help each other and answer any questions that each one of us might have and we could answer them on this page.

80% TEAS
Proficient in Spanish (submitted my college transcripts showing proficiency)
400+ hours volunteering in an ER
I submitted my CPT-1 & EMT-B licenses
I submitted that I already have my CPR for healthcare provider card
I worked 100+ hours CARE ambulance
Currently work as a Health Assistant at a high school, 900+ hours
Human Anatomy & Lab Grades C/C (my lab courses were a separate class)
Microbiology & Lab Grades B/A
Human Physiology & Lab Grades A/A
I have my B.S. in Biology
Overall GPA 3.0
Life Experiences: disadvantaged educational environment, first generation college student, need to work, difficult personal situation, and low family income.
Hello, I received my acceptance letter! It came in a very thin envelope with one paper in it. When I first saw it I did not think I got in, lol! There is a mandatory advisement on October 27 and a mandatory fire safety class as well on that date. You have to respond via email that you are choose this program by October 20. My stats were:

3.8 overall
71.3 Teas
18 months CNA experience in SNF and Hospital
