I haven't seen a thread yet for the Fall 2024 Rio Hondo ADN applicants so I wanted to make it for anyone else who is applying/ has questions.
- I was wondering to anyone who applied before and maybe got waitlisted or denied, where do they send the acceptance/waitlist/rejection email... Should we be receiving it in our regular emails or school emails? I'm not sure how to access my school email because it won't allow me since I've never applied to the school nor do I currently take any classes. Also do they give out rejection emails? I've applied to schools that have not and it sucks, but I literally just found out through these threads that I didn't get accepted.

pechaberry said:Just to clarify, you meant that your friend used to work at RHC? :0 Also out of curiosity, what other program have you been accepted to? I'm a little worried too with the lack of info on RHC's side, but they've been pretty good about contacting me and replying to me when I email them directly at least!
Yes, my friend worked at RHC in the past. I was accepted to San Diego City College in the past but did not attend. I agree, they're good about following up with you so that is reassuring!
pechaberry said:Oh okay that doesn't sound super bad! Sorry, I have one more question; I know it differs from year to year but do you remember there being any mandatory meetings for RHC prior to the start of the semester from when you first started the program? I tried to call and ask about mandatory meetings, but they don't have a definitive answer either and the only dates I know of are the Keys to Success event and the Castlebranch deadlines..
All we had was the Keys to Success, it wasn't mandatory but I highly recommend it. Like we didn't have a previous orientation day or anything like that. The Keys to Success is pretty much the "orientation". And yeah then you have the Castlebranch deadlines. Just FYI, the TB test HAS TO BE A SKIN TEST. I thought the blood test would be fine but it's not for RH. I know a lot of clinics don't do the skin test so get that done asap.

definitely go to it because you get to meet the professors & students, they can answer your questions, and you can get a feel for what the semester will be like. I really liked it and you get to meet your future cohort too.

But they only sent me the slides and didn't tell me where the meeting will be held on campus...
Shola Oyefeso said:Does anyone have the keys to success slides that they could send to me? I received a late acceptance and wasn't able to attend. Also did you have to complete those two classes ADN 151 and ADN 151L
ADN 151 and 151L is not needed, also I would love those keys to success slides as well, they said they were going to send it out but I didn't receive them.
