I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

Hey guys I accepted into my number one choice Count of LA Nursing school I am so happy because it only 15 min away from me. I will giving up my spot here at RIo so good luck to you all. For those who ordered their books from the bookstore, did you guys get charged for coursepoint?

I ordered both the textbook and coursepoint. However, they only charged me for the textbook with the status stating fulfilled, while the status of coursepoint remains blank.

Did you receive the coursepoint? Or your textbook?

Would it be that the coursepoint is out of stock?

I received the textbook through the mail, but not coursepoint. Is coursepoint given through the mail as well?

I am not to sure because it didn’t say about it being out of stock.

Maybe trying calling the bookstore number that was sent to us. I am today also becauae I'm curious how it comes from the bookstore because I ordered mine from amazon.

I am receiving my course point Friday from Barnes and Noble. I will let you all know how it comes. I bought the text separately.

Hi everyone,

I didn't think this thread would gain so much helpful communication when I first posted it. It truly has been so helpful!

I just wanted to let everyone on here know that after some careful thought, I decided to go ahead and make a FB page for us students going into the program in the Summer. I am thinking that due to covid 19 we might barely be able to meet and create study groups etc, or just chat and ask questions, as classes normally would. Therefore, I thought that we should have a place to be able to communicate better as we navigate this first class, fundamentals. I noticed this is what is normally done in threads once decisions are out and class starts and it seems like a good idea.

I gave it careful thought because I dont really use social media. I also dont want to do anything online that would jeopardize my standing in nursing school, so I want to be extra cautious on how we all communicate on this fb page. I do think we need a better place to communicate then this thread now that we have moved on to the next step. I also think we should use something that is not on such a public forum.

Anyway, I will create the page by the end of today and post it here when done for others to join if youd like!

We just have a few more weeks left!
