RIO HONDO ADN Summer/FALL 2020

Hi,

I have not seen a thread for people who applied for the upcoming Summer/fall start at Rio Hondo so wanted to create one. I know the deadline for the applications just passed but feel free to post stats or questions that you may have. Goodluck to everyone :- )

I got everything done in castlebranch except for fire card which has been extended to August. I also submitted my flu shot and passport pic to nursing department. She said that CRN will be given last week of May

So even though all requirements are completed, you will not receive course CRNs until end of August? Does that allow for enough time for financial aid to process? Personally, I would like to know sooner than later for financial purposes.

Until end of May. Not sure about financial aid

Do I need to email someone to notify them that everything that can be completed is complete or wait to be contacted? Everything is complete aside from Flu Shot and Fire Card.

I tried to tell RG if everything else needed completion and wouldn’t get a response but did say that will be getting CRN by end of May. So I’m taking it that as I do have everything complete but need to be patient LOL

Hi everyone! I completed all my uploads on CB today. Just a quick and silly question.. we do not need to send our medical forms by mail, right?

It is only the 4 items listed

The BLS card, Fire card, Flu vaccine and 1 passport photo.

correct?

Just want confirm, before I send it =D

Have you guys received your uniforms yet? If so, how long did it take to ship? I'm still waiting to hear back from two schools so I'm hesitant on whether I should order one asap or risk it and wait a bit. The email said we need them by the first day of clinical, but isn't clinical during the last few weeks of the Summer semester? Thanks in advance!

Hi, yes I have mine. But I ordered it April 10 and just drove to pick it up an hour away on Monday. I just wonder if we would need it for the lab aswell...or just clinical...I dont know. But yes I remember them saying clinical would be the last 4 weeks of the program. If you are going to wait, Maybe ask to pick it up instead of ship. Even with picking it up I had to wait a few weeks though. Dont take this info as advise though, when in doubt ask someone in the program. ?

My background check is still in progress on castlebranch...has anyones actually been completed ?? Or is it still in progress?? I hope its okay as tomorrow is already May 8
