Rio Hondo ADN Fall 2015

Hi, I will be applying for the March 1st deadline and I was wondering if people who have already gotten in for the fall 2015 would share their stats. I am nervous about not getting in since I do not have any medical field experience.

I have a 4.0 GPA for the (Micro, Anatomy, Physio) core classes

3.7 on the overall GPA

I have an EMT license

Bilingual- Spanish

1st generation, low income

I a m hoping this gets me as many points as possible to get in.

Hi Cinnthiiaa. I will also be applying for the March 1st deadline. Seems like you have an excellent shot of getting in. Your GPA should make up for the lack of medical experience.

I'll be applying with a 3.0 for (Micro, Anatomy, Physio)

3.2 overall GPA

EMT and Phlebotomy licence. Currently working in an ER(EMT since 2009, Phlebotomy since 2011)

Certified Spanish Translator (took the test at my hospital)

1st Generation, low income

Hey thanks for the reply, I submitted my application now I'm just waiting on the response. I believe they start sending the letters at the beginning of April. Good luck on yours too

A.A. with cumulative GPA 3.7

TEAS 82%

I just got a new per diem job (36 hours/week) at a major hospital, so I don't know if I can still attend nursing school. I also applied at College of the Canyons.

They sent out acceptances almost a month ago and are accepting some people on the wait list. I got in last week. We have until May 22 to finish everything required to start, so I guess if you don't hear soon then you're not in :(

Since March they've been sending notifications?! Oh man, yeah then most likely Im not in.. Boohoo.

Well when they gave me the acceptance, the letter said we had to accept or decline it by April 10. They told me to disregard that cause it was obviously past the 10. So I'm guessing they gave out acceptances like April 1st or around there.

They will call you; that's how they communicate. You might get in because people decline their spots.

Aside from rio I applied at pcc, lasc, cerritos, and county so Im just hoping atleast ONE accepts me
