What articles have you found so far? It sounds like between this and your other post, you are simply posting homework questions here. It is important that you do your own work. We are happy to help and clarify, but spoon feeding you the answers would not do you any favors. As a practicing nurse, you will need to know where to go to find answers.

Medcram has a great video explaining VQ mismatch. I had a hard time wrapping my brain around the concept at first, once I understood it it became a favorite respiratory topic! I remember being pretty bummed during school that we weren't asked any questions about it because I spent a lot of time reading and watching videos about it LOL!

Seriously? Why not just post "do my homework for me"? Takes a lot of cajones to not only ask for the answer but also the citation. Shame on you.

What does your text books say about the rationale what do you understand or don't about the rationale in the book. For articles use the resources at you library to look for articles. As others have said there are folks on this site that will help in clarifying what you may not understand or direct you to sources that can help explain, but you need to show the work that you have done.
