Our Lady of the Lake is in Baton Rouge, but they have accelerated programs in New Orleans, including at Tulane University Hospital (Not Toulane). I graduated from their accelerated program, but it was held at a different hospital. I am assuming you have a previous bachelor's degree. You will probably need several pre-reqs to get into the program. Be ready to commit for the full 10 months. It is a pretty intense program, but you are done in no time. I had no trouble getting a job when I graduated. Do note that Our Lady of the Lake is a private school, so tuition and fees are higher than they would be at a public university.
Just to offer another option, LSU-HSC in New Orleans has an Accelerated BSN program called the CARE program. I am not sure if it is something you are interested in but just thought you might want to check it out.
I missed your call, maybe I was asleep. Feel free to try again. You just write the Board of Nursing in the state you desire licensing and they will send you the requirments for licensing . I held a California license at one time and had no trouble getting it. It generally takes a few weeks to get all the paperwork out of the way. Some boards offer temporary licensing while waiting.

So I am looking at applying for the Accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of The Lake college in Toulane, LA and I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this college or knowledge of how well-received a LA nursing degree is across the country.
Any help is appreciated!
