Dear Mr. *****,
In May I will graduate RN-ASN from one of Indiana's best nursing programs, Ivy Tech Community College. Through my resume you will uncover that I match the qualifications for this nursing position.
I eagerly seek to join you and Riverview Health on its mission to redefine health care through quality care and community commitment. As a safe and competent nurse in your hospital I will bring my experience in working with diverse communities, a strong passion for evidence based practice, and my education that is rooted in patient-centered care to Riverview Health.
I have developed nursing, leadership and critical thinking skills through over 600 clinical hours across numerous top rated hospitals throughout the Indianapolis area. In addition to my nursing skills, I have a profuse number of years in customer service and a prevalent community involvement.
I welcome and look forward to an opportunity to discuss with you in person how my experience, energy, and passion will be a great asset to your team. I will follow up with you in the next week to see if we can arrange for a time to meet for a brief introduction.
Thank you for your time and consideration
Sincerely,
**** ****

I think your resume looks good, but I wouldn't put your full name, telephone number, etc on the internet for all to see... maybe block that out.

Don't put irrelevant stuff. On your resume..ie jobs at old navy or ice cream parlor.

I would remove the bit about "One of Indiana's best nursing programs." It comes across as cocky, and while listing the school is ok, they seriously may not care.
I would keep the employment history since you have not worked as a nurse. Maybe add some choice job duties that highlight what you did that can translate to health care.
Beware too much self-praising "fluff" i.e. "exceedingly skilled and productive individual". It sounds over-the-top and is also not true. You cannot yet be highly skilled as a new grad. Productivity improves with experience as well.
Best to stick to the facts. Let them know what you will DO to be a model employee. List tangible things you have accomplished and recognition you have received in previous jobs and clinicals.
