I'm in Kentucky and only 5 minutes from Ohio. I'm looking for suggestions on a review course. At first I was looking for a Live review/classroom setting, but was told by a few friends to look up ATI. ATI online is $474 and NSCBN is $100. I heard both of these were great reviews, and was just curious what others thought. Thank you for your help!

What kind of review? NCLEX? Check out the NCLEX prep forum for thousands of opinions on the multitude of online, book and in person reviews available.

Yes, I'm sorry RN NCLEX review. Thank you

When choosing an NCLEX-RN review course it's important to think about your week areas and the strengths of each review course. You also need to take into account whether you are motivated enough to tackle an online review course.

I chose to do Hurst, while it was a good review course for those lacking in content it did very little in terms of NCLEX-RN strategy so I had to supplement with other materials.

I tried NCSBN Learning Ext, but I didn't really care for it. I thought that the way material was presented was poorly designed.

Everyone is different, and only you can truly know what works for you. Best of luck!

Thank you. Did you have to do a HESI or ATI exit exam?

I had to do HESI Exit, our school required us to pass with 850 or above. We never had to do a exit exam for any class so many of us didn't know how to study but most of us passed with pretty high scores.

Like Okami said, everyone is different. I LOVED the HURST review and thought it had great NCLEX strategy help. It wasn't as HEAVY On strategy as the Kaplan review but I loved it.

I also used the Prioritization and Delegation book by LaCharity. It was very helpful. I had a bunch of those types of questions when I took boards. Good luck.
