I recently took my NCLEX and failed it. I received my results and scored "Near Passing Level" on all but Basic Care and Management. Frankly, I am terrified to take the NCLEX again, out of fear from not passing again. I know my scores are low but maybe someone can help me figure out a plan?
These are my Kaplan scores for the first time .
Question Trainer 1: 64 %
Question Trainer 2: 68 %
Question Trainer 3: 51 %
Question Trainer 4: 61.2 %
Question Trainer 5: 57.3 %
Question Trainer 6: 50.5 %
Question Trainer 7: 47.5 %
I do want to move on and try again and be better prepared but I don't know where to start this second time. I feel my scores are getting lower and I have been out of school longer (8 months). I was wondering if there is any advice I can get? Or an idea on where to begin again?

Hi. my suggestion is to use Saunders, LaCharity, apps for questions. I used all three plus listening to audio while I prepared for my second time. It stopped at 75 this time and I was pretty amazed. You have to know your content. Kaplan failed me the first time because all my questions were knowledge based questions, the decision tree did not help me at all. While others might tell you Kaplan worked for them, it really didn't for me. You should focus on your weakness and refresh them using Saunders. Do not stop doing questions, even if its 25 a day, it will help. I did about 50 to 100 a day. I read my Saunder or notes I have. You can do it!! good luck!
