I am trying to submit an application and I realized I need some help with my resume so I called resume services around my area but they are charging so much. I dont even know if they are even reliable or not. Has anyone tried resume service and are they helpful?

Is there a community college near you? Many offer job placement services and assistance for a small fee.
Or, do you still live near the school from which you graduated?

Please don't pay a resume service. there are so many resume samples on the internet that you can get idea's from, or you can go to the library most have career centers where a librarian or someone can help you. When I did my resume I looked at a few of those sites that you have to pay for and I didn't like the samples that they showed plus they were expensive.

Anyone can provide a resume service, so some may be worth it, while others are not.
As suggested, try your community college, or perhaps a job bank service. Yes you can use examples found on the internet, but that won't guarantee that you will catch all grammatical, spelling, or syntax errors on your own.
