I graduated in dec of 04 and worked as a grad nurse for about 4 months (before going out on maternity leave) then took the boards and failed them. Then to make a long story short I then started going through a divorce which was final a few weeks ago and I decided to try the NCLEX exams again and I passed my boards.
Any way I need some help writing a cover letter for my resume...any help / links would be appreciated!!

Have you searched Allnurses for "cover letters"?
I have found a good deal of helpful information that way.
Also, try typing :
RN cover letter samples
into Google or your search engine of choice. There are a lot of samples out there to get a good idea of how to compose a nice cover letter.
Good luck in your search :)

congratulations on getting your license! the cover letter should first tell all about why you're fabulous and perfect for their company and the job. here's some links i have on how to write a cover letter. all the links i had from monster.com were inactive, but you should check their website and careerbuilder.com as well. they each should have a help section with some free advice on writing resumes and cover letters. monster.com had some really good articles on what and what not to include in a cover letter along with specific advice on how to organize the paragraphs.
you should also check out the sticky threads on the nursing career advice forum of allnurses. i believe there are other links there.
good luck, kiddo!
addendum. . .just went back into the monster.com website and got these links for you:
