Hi, I've started my first nursing job and besides learning from my preceptor, are there any awesome websites to learn from at home? I'm feeling overwhelmed, and I would like to learn as much as I can when I'm at home, in a lower stress environment.

Could you be more specific? What is the type of unit or facility where you are now? What skills do you need to learn?
I'm in tele, so rhythms and meds would be favorable.
Lifeinthefastlane.com EKG library is a very good place to start.
The FOAM ED section is also very good and very current.
Look up the algorithms for the treatment of CHF, atrial fib and pulmonary hypertension on the website UpToDate.
For a beginner I would suggest that you really read and study your ACLS book. It is packed with everything you need to know to get by for now. The American Heart Association site is very good also.

Some on-line sites are: Nursing Center.com, Medscape . com, the above post referred to EKG sites. I also learn better in a less stressful environment. I prefer to teach myself and refer to the educator if I have questions. Some of the nursing journals that are on line may be beneficial as well such as Nursing 2014, American Journal of Nursing etc. They will have some of the basics for you and also provide articles on current trends in nursing.

The American Heart Association has an online basic rhythm recognition course.
