Jaimeiam,
To be honest we have only been in school now for about 4 weeks. We are finishing up with Assessment of Nursing, and have 2 more weeks of Foundations of Nursing. The reading to be honest is manageable, in Foundations we have pretty much had to choose between reading the book or doing the ONLINE EVOLVE modules. It just depends on if you are a visual vs. book person. I would not worry. The work load is manageable, though it does consume your life. The best advice that I have received is to take it one day at a time for the most part. Do what you have to do for the following day, then get caught up on Fridays and the weekend by doing projects or assignments in advance. I hope that this helps!! Let me know if you have any other questions.
I think it would be very manageable to work in serving on Thursday, Friday, or Saturdays. I would not over do it, as you will have a lot of homework to get caught up on the weekends. The would classify the workload as manageable though!!

Good luck to the OP!
I am a graduate of RCON class of 2009 and I do NOT work for HCA, although they did pay my way through school. PM me if you want specifics.
