I am posting yet another message. I am moving back to Saint Louis and I found a Marine Corps ROTC program closer in the city. Although I am from here I don't know a lot about the Tower Grove area because my son will be going to Roosevelt High School if anybody has any rental information I would appreciate the inquiries.:wink2:

Hopefully you will get more responses from those "more informed", but I know they really have done some cleaning up in that area....I think you still have to be careful of specific areas and some of the surrounding areas can be iffy, I think it's an area that's really up and coming!!

This is, however, a recent headline to come out of that area....make sure you get good guidance on where in this area you move...the Hill is very close by and has some good areas, too!!

Look in stltoday.com That is the St Louis Post-Dispatch website where you can look for rentals. You may want to consider the St Louis Hills area, the area around Jamieson St, and the Hampton area...all on the SW side of STL. These are very stable areas but not too close to Roosevelt. Most kids just take a city bus. Tower Grove area is a mixed bag, some nice, some not so. Just coming back to STL, you would be better served to stay in a more stable area until you become more comfortable again.
