Renewing license from jail

My brother recently went to jail, pending felony vs misdemeanor charges with his court hearing. His RN license is supposed to be up for renewal this year. Is there a way for him to complete CEUs and renew from jail?

As the renewal process can be completed online it should be possible to complete from jail, however only the jail that he is being held in can answer what computer resources are available for his use and what the process is for requesting computer time needed to complete this.  

As for reporting his incarceration he will need to look for guidance from his state board of nursing, again all this information should be available online. I assume he has an attorney, he needs to seek that person's advice on how best to proceed. If his lawyer is not familiar with licensing laws he or she can refer your brother to a lawyer that  can best assist with this
